MY MESSAGE TO MY DEVOTEES – FOUR
You get excited by looking at the body. You appreciate and nurture your body. You seek a companion body and get entangled in worldliness. Such a relationship gets expanded like an ocean. When you are sitting ashore, you fall into this ocean of worldliness. You start searching for someone to save you from this ocean of worldliness. At that time I reach out like the twig of a tree or a rope or a log of wood to save you. Thinking 'how could any such irrelevant things save me?' you leave Me aside. You blame that God will not come to rescue when one is in trouble. How can I help you then? I come to save you from the ocean of worldliness. But you are drowned in Maya, thus unable to recognize me. Your wife, kith and kin will not come to your rescue. Yet you are only dependent on them. When I come on My own, you are unable to recognize My power. As you are immersed in the ocean of worldliness, I am also residing within you. Forgetting this truth, you are dependent on the external world, neglecting and forgetting Me. How could I then help you? Never forget that I am there forever. I do not forget you. I always exist in our mutual spiritual relationship. If you realize this truth, I will be there forever to save you.
Have Faith in My Sayings.
GURUVAAR PRARTHNA - 26/01/2017
Our Beloved Sadguru Sainath, please accept our humble prayers on this Holy Day of Guruvaar. Baba, there are sufferings we create for ourselves through violation of the laws of life, through impure thinking and wrong feelings, through wild imagination and unbalanced emotion, through harmful habits and unhealthy desires and through a wrong use of our energies and powers to unworthy ends. Baba, such suffering must be avoided by bringing our thought, will and imagination under control and directing our energies towards You and live a life proposed by You. On this holy day, we start our prayers by reading Your divine guidance from Shri Sai Samartha Satcharitra.
Now another short story. Listen to it respectfully. You will come to know about Baba's omniscience and his endeavour to guide towards the divine path.
Once a lawyer came and went to the Masjid, the moment he arrived. He took Sainath's darshan and bowed down at his feet.
He then gave dakshina, without being asked, and went and sat near by. He felt like listening to Sai's conversation, with respect.
Baba, then, turned his face and uttered words which were meant for the lawyer. The words pierced his heart and the lawyer was repentant.
" What frauds people are! They touch my feet, offer dakshina also, and abuse me in the heart of hearts. How queer are their ways! "
Having heard this, the lawyer kept quiet. But he fully understood the significance. He realised that the words were meant for him only. The essence of the words penetrated deep
into his mind.
Later on when he went to the wada, he told Dixit that Baba's cutting words had hurt him but they were true.
" As soon as I arrived, he fired me. But that was a kind of warning to me that I should never indulge in mocking or backbiting anybody.
As our Munsif was not keeping good health and he was restless, he took leave from the office and stayed on peacefully here to improve his health.
While we were in the chamber of the lawyers, the discussion turned around the Munsif and though we were not directly concerned, conjectures were made.
'Without medication, just by following Sai, can the physical ailments be cured? Does it befit him who has risen to the status of a Munsif (to behave in this superstitious way).'
While he was being thus reviled, Sai was also belittled. I was also party to a small extent to all this and that fault of mine was pointed out (by Baba).
It was not a scolding but a blessing in itself. One should not unnecessarily participate in useless discussion, malign or criticise others and pass bitter remarks behind the backs of people and should refrain from indulging in these bad habits. "
Besides, this is proof that even if there is a distance of a hundred koss, Sai is omniscient and knows the heart of every person.
Moreover, one more matter became clear that intervening hills and mountains could not hide anything from Sai. Securely hidden secrets were all open to him.
Be it so. From that day onwards, the lawyer decided that in future he would never criticise or utter ill words. That was his vow.
I bow down to Sree Ganesh
I bow down to Sree Saraswati
I bow down to the Guru
I bow down to the Family Deity
I bow down to Sree Sita-Ramachandra
I bow down to Sree Sadguru Sainath.
